WALKWAYS

Nothing dresses up a yard or driveway like a stone or brick walkway. There are many options to consider such as whether the walkway is still in good condition or the foundation should be completely rebuilt. If it is still in good condition you may be able to get away with just using flagstone or brick pavers. However, if it needs to be rebuilt it may be best to reform and reinforce with rebar and concrete and then recap with brick pavers or flagstone. Flagstone is a beautiful option for your walkway. They come in two forms, either precut with a uniform shape such as squares or rectangles, or irregularly shaped flagstone which offers a unique look but can often not end up being as strong.

Walkway pavers have become a very popular option. They come in three main category types: concrete pavers, natural stone pavers, and brick pavers. Concrete and brick pavers provide a variety of options with color, shape, and size. Natural stone pavers have a more limited number of options, but are very desirable with for their more natural look. The best part is that walkway pavers are general less expensive, very easy to repair, and last for a very long time.
